Sort of... I was going to make more developed trees but then stopped for some reason.

It swam just beneath the surface of the water, mouth open, seeking something even it did not know ...

Great use of color, here.

Your art never ceases to amaze me. I like the use of color alot. Maybe some more background elements would make the composition more fleshed out.

More background would probably be good. I wanted the color to be washed out so the line and shape might be emphasized.
Thank you very much!

I like the surreal element to this piece. :D The colours you used work really well and give the picture a sort of dreamy feel. Great teeth. :meow:

I really like the concept, but I don't know if the balance is alright, it feels like it's a little of when you compare the upper half with the lower half. Maybe it is an idea to make the lower half a little bit darker, like you see in the water also.

I think the bottom could use some more dark. I will look at the piece again in a few days to see it with fresh eyes.
Thank you for your comment and input.

I really love this, though I'm not sure why. The pastels give the whole picture a sort of a dreamy feel, though because of the odd look of the fish, it seems more surreal. I really like that you can't identify exactly what kind of fish this is, and that the mouth is so out of place. The teeth and the roundness of the mouth have a funny, interesting look.

This is probably several types of fish in one. I did not use a reference so I probably mixed things up.
Thank you very much!

Both frightening (only slightly) and enchanting. The details add so much to the atmosphere of the fish, and the soft colours make a really nice contrast to the scarier visual of the fish (it's those teeth! ^__^). I love it so, so much!
