Tea Gown by SethFitts Tea Gown by SethFitts

The progress of this image was determined by how much tea I could drink. Oolong, Darjeeling, Green and maybe a bit of White tea.
Tea, pastel and graphite pencil on illustration board.

Really love this, hauntingly beautiful. Hope the tea was caffeine free or you'll be getting no sleep! ;)

Ha ha! The Green tea was low caffeine but the black teas were their normal potency... and sleep was at its normally deprived state.
Thank you much!

She looks almost as a cloud of steam, as bird which will fly of... just lingering here for the moment, no tangible memory. I like it very much.

Ah, very much the idea I had with her: fleeting; momentary; transient; passing but not to be soon forgotten.
I like the way you describe her as a bird which will fly away.
Thank you!!!

So pretty! I imagine that painting with tea is similar to painting with coffee?

Thank you!
Painting with tea is comparable to coffee. Different teas make different stains and the potency of the stain varies.
