first thought seeing it

'winnie the poo'

i don't know if that's a compliment to you or not

but that is my initial thought for some reason.

I take it as a compliment. I really like the old illustrations and the older Disney animations of Pooh. The landscapes were(are) great!
Thank you!

I think I saw this artwork in the pic of you at Mayfair (it was on the table next to the framed pics). Is it done all in shades of green and brown and gray? If so ... wow.

this is so elegant, I can't explain more about my attraction to this piece although I am sure the factor that I love trees fits in somewhere. you captured a tree spirit or set it free.

Please, don't feel the need to get solitary trees out of your system! I love them!

I love the closeness of this ... the tree is right there. I could almost reach out and touch it ... and I want to reach out and touch it, to feel the smooth/rough bark. And the subtle use of shadows just under the leaves on the trunk is spot on.

I get an odd sensation of sinking whilst looking at this... a compelling sense of weight... very peculiar how part of the trunk suddenly submerges in white... perhaps it's that, paired with the foliage

Yes, something different from the others. I was trying to show foliage shadow more with bits of light peeking through.
