Sorry for the spate of favs without comments, but I didn't want to clutter up your feed, so I'll comment in here.
I think what's really come clear to me in these 4 pages is that your work hides (for lack of a better word) a certain technical mastery of form and perspective behind an innocent treatment. The characters in A Farewell are actually very technically strong but appear to have the same innocence of a cartoon. I think this marriage of elements is what really sets your illustrative work apart for me and makes your world come alive.
I cannot always comment when I fave, so no problem! Having been trying to get into the children's book field for several years now, I think the naive or innocent feel those books usually have has bled into most of my work. Also since I have been focusing on children's illustration, I have had children in mind when making my artwork but not wanting my artwork to be just for children. It is intended for all ages, genders and ethnicities. I am trying to create artwork with a timeless and ageless feel. I want the viewer to have an "aha!" or "oh!" moment. I welcome almost any comments. They tell me how successful I was with what I was trying to portray in my work. Thank you very much!!!

It's only in these most recent images that I was really able to observe the hidden skills behind making these images possible.
