I really like the concept and layout here. original and interesting to me. But it also seems a bit busy as well. But that is probably my minimalist side coming out.

I thought the composition was a bit congested for what I find visually pleasing but the piece seemed to demand all the components.

Even the "older brother" part? that seemed to me a bit random, to be honest. was there some inside sentiment between you and the other artist regarding that component?

I was working subconsciously here. Something needed to go in that portion of the artwork but I didn't know what exactly. The card sat around for a day or so with me looking at it off and on. I kept seeing the two images of the man as brothers. So, I let the two images be brothers and gave a crown to what seemed to be the older of the two, because there is always an "older" with siblings. The words "older brother" was sitting on the work table and it seemed to fit and belong in the vacant space it inhabits now.
I hope I made some sense!
