Very nice...I have a possum that lives under my back porch...I call it Polly...it may be a Bob for all I know. It took a very long time for us to become friends...Polly would hiss at me, then gradually s/he became used to me sitting on the porch, now s/he eats out of my hand. Ugliest critter I've ever seen and the textures of his/hers body are quite remarkable. We are at the point where I can pet him/her and s/he comes up from under the back porch when I whistle. Just sayin.

I think they are like vampires. They are pale (in the face), they move about at night, they run from bright light (but not always!), and many times they hiss at me when I come across them.
Very interesting how you've got this particular opossum to come to you.
