I think it is Golden's Transparent Oxide. One of my favorite colors.

Ah thank you, will be starting it tomorrow so I'll keep you posted! I've got 2 large detailed oils going on at the moment, so I want to start some smaller studies in all kinds of media, to keep the experimentation and flow flowing

I like the word timbrous... it has a nice feel to it... and my mind does strange things breaking it up into tim and something like bruce... its an interesting mental activity to pair with looking at a painting of something that could go timber in a totally different way.
