This is my first critique, so don´t mind. It´s really intreting idea, to make the color, and the the lines. When i first saw this picture, i sure catched my eye. It´s something so original that haven´t seen the same before. The color is awesome, but i wish that there could be some background. Other things that crossed my mind were, that is this picture a photo? I think it´s nothing really important but many scanners make picture´s look better. Whether it´s photo or scan i have to say that there aren´t really many things i can but as a minus on this picture. I think you have done awesome job and i hope to see more of your art in near future.
love that your negative space is textural, soft and full of meaning. the leading edge and shadow in the lower right quadrant washing away in the blue above--bleeding into the negative space--further enlivens while the composition remains simple and elegant. the single point of the pure white paper eye is extremely satisfying and makes a profound moment out of your well imagined blue bird.
