I feel guilty looking at this. I know that I busted your chops before about explaining symbolism and such. You have done that very well here. But my initial reaction was "Damn Bird! You suck at nest-making!"

I assume that wasn't what you were going for :p

looks like the bird is a baby, usually the beak is shaped like they're "sad"
